In this 4-day intensive, students will explore the fundamentals of Michael Chekhov Acting Technique, beginning with "the Feeling of Beauty." What does beauty mean to you? Developing an individual aesthetic and an eye for beauty is fundamental for the artist to begin knowing who they are and what they bring to the table. By connecting to self, students will access the power of their creative individuality without judgement.

For 4 days, students will be creating, moving, storytelling, experimenting, collaborating, and celebrating all of the different shades of beauty – the good, the bad, the ugly, the raunchy, the funky, the mysterious, the naughty, the dangerously cheesy – and how they can empower, inspire and support the widest range of expression possible in performance. Students will not only begin to build their understanding of process, but also learn the practical applications that this mystical and spiritual technique has on-camera and on stage.
