Sebastian's self-tape clients have gotten callbacks to theatre houses all over the country including Soho Rep in NY, Arena Stages in DC, Paramount Theatre, Teatro Vista in Chicago, Geffen Playhouse in LA, Classic Stage Company in NY, Westport Country Playhouse and Yale Rep in CT.

His approach to on-camera is an integration of all the various experiences he has had on set and with the Michael Chekhov technique, a body-led experience. He believes in releasing students CREATIVE INDIVIDUALITY, having FUN, surrendering to acting as a FULL BODY EXPERIENCE even if casting directors are only looking for "head & shoulder" framing. He is compassionate, extremely perceptive, and will always challenge you to move out of your comfort zone.

 

In addition, Sebastian has worked 18 weeks with Brittani Ward, a freelance casting director in Chicago, and taken multiple classes with on-camera king, Bob Krakower.

📚 BFA & MFA JOURNEY 📚

Sebastian's students have been admitted to various acting programs in the country: DePaul University’s Theatre Program MFA and BFA, PACE BFA, UCSD MFA, University of Houston MFA, Boston University MFA and BFA, NYU, Juilliard, USC BFA and MFA, Brown—Trinity Rep MFA, Cal Arts MFA.

Sebastian provides:

• Completely personalized curriculum based off you and the level you are working at

• Application strategies regarding your overall presentation, your statement, and your monologue selection

• A regular, flexible training schedule that works for you and keeps you accountable

This process is about you learning to work towards performing at a high level. Coaching only when you have an audition the next day is not the same as coaching regularly to keep developing your craft so that when opportunities come, you feel confident and ready. The power of developing a relationship with a mentor in the arts, especially if you are not already immersed in a school program, can be utterly transformational & life-changing. Sebastian knows it has been for him and his clients.
